At Gilmore Metalsmithing Studio each project presents an opportunity for a unique artistic design. Working with our clients, custom designs are created, fitting your space and budget.
We work with architects, interior designers, contractors, and home owners in the design process. Careful attention to detail is paramount with each commission, from small towel hooks to a set of entry gates.
Whether forging custom fireplace doors, railings, furniture, or hardware we use the best materials available. We work with a variety of metals, including mild and stainless steel, bronze, monel, copper and brass.
It is our goal to use recycled and regionally produced materials whenever possible and recycle the scrap waste. In 2009 approximately 85% of the material we used was from recycled sources.
Commissions this past year have been across the country including: Atlanta, Georgia, Greenwich, Connecticut, in Jackson Hole, Wyoming at the Crescent H Ranch, Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis Club, Three Creek Ranch, and Teton Village, and in Big Sky, Montana at The Yellowstone Club, Spanish Peaks, and Moonlight Basin.
